Συγκεντρώνεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη η Εθνική εφήβων

Τη Δευτέρα, 4 Μαΐου, στο ΕΓ Μίκρας στη Θεσσαλονίκη ορίστηκε το ραντεβού της Εθνικής εφήβων, εν όψει της συμμετοχής της στη δεύτερη προκριματική φάση του Παγκοσμίου Πρωταθλήματος (15-17/05 στην Κροατία). Ο προπονητής του αντιπροσωπευτικού συγκροτήματος, Γιώργος Καραβιδόπουλος, κάλεσε
τους παρακάτω διεθνείς: Δημήτρη Εφραιμίδη, Χρυσόστομο Κολτσιάκη, Νίκο Παλέντζα, Δημήτρη Χαραλαμπίδη (Ηρακλής), Γιάννη Γεωργιάδη, Νικήτα Εφραιμίδη (Ν. Μουδανιά), Μίταρ Τζούριτς (Ολυμπιακός), Χαράλαμπο Τακόγλου (Νίκη Αιγινίου),

Στο πλαίσιο της προετοιμασίας της, η Εθνική θα δώσει τρία
φιλικά παιχνίδια (7-9/-5) στη Θεσσαλονίκη με την Εθνική εφήβων της Βουλγαρίας.

Ξεκινάει προετοιμασία η Εθνική νεανίδων

Στο «σπίτι» του βόλεϊ στην Παιανία θα συγκεντρωθεί αύριο Παρασκευή (01/01) η Εθνική ομάδα Νεανίδων, προκειμένου να ξεκινήσει προπονήσεις για τα προκριματικά του Παγκοσμίου Πρωταθλήματος (8-15/05 στη Μόσχα). Ο ομοσπονδιακός τεχνικός, Γιάννης Οικονομίδης, κάλεσε τις: Κατερίνα Δαουλτζόγλου (Ηρακλής), Αναστασία Νικολαΐδου, Ειρήνη Κελεσίδου (Εαρινός), Μαρία Παντζαρτζίδου, Μερόπη Καλανταρίδου (Άρης), Ελένη Κουντουρά (Ηρακλής Κηφισιάς), Αποστολία Νούσια (Φιλαθλ. Λαρισαϊκός), Ανδριάνα Παπαγιάννη (Αστέρας Αγ. Δημητρίου), Ευαγγελία Μερτέκη (Μακεδόνες Αξιού), Αφροδίτη Λαδένη (Siemens), Μαρία Οικονομίδου (Πειραματικό), Ευαγγελία Λεωνιδάκη (Σταυρούπολη), Χριστίνα Σωτηρίου (ΧΑΝΘ).

Α1 ΓΥΝΑΙΚΩΝ (ΠΛΕΪ ΟΦ: ΘΕΣΕΙΣ 3-4): Πανιώνιος – Ηρακλής 1-3

Με 22 πόντους από τη Μοντάνο, ο Ηρακλής επικράτησε του Πανιωνίου στη Νέα Σμύρνη με 3-1 και διπλασίασε τις νίκες επί του αντιπάλου του, κατακτώντας την τρίτη θέση στο πρωτάθλημα της Α1 γυναικών. Οι «κυανόλευκες» κέρδισαν παράλληλα το τελευταίο «εισιτήριο» που οδηγεί στην Ευρώπη και τη νέα χρονιά θα αγωνίζονται στο Τσάλεντζ Καπ.

Αποφάσεις Αθλητικού Δικαστή

Με αποφάσεις του Αθλητικού Δικαστή κ. Δ. Λευκού επιβλήθηκαν οι παρακάτω τιμωρίες:
Χρηματικό πρόστιμο 5.000 € στο ΤΑΑ Παναθηναϊκός για την συμπεριφορά των φιλάθλων του στον αγώνα με τον Ολυμπιακό στις 27 Απριλίου,
Χρηματικό πρόστιμο 5.000 € στο ΤΑΑ ΑΡΗΣ Μαρμούρης ΑΕ για την συμπεριφορά των φιλάθλων του στον αγώνα με τον ΠΑΟΚ στις 27 Απριλίου
Ποινή αποκλεισμού 2 αγωνιστικών ημερών και χρηματικό πρόστιμο 600 € στον αθλητή του ΤΑΑ ΑΡΗΣ Μαρμούρης ΑΕ G. ENANDRO, για την αποβολή του στον αγώνα με τον ΠΑΟΚ στις 23 Απριλίου. Το ΤΑΑ ΑΡΗΣ Μαρμούρης ΑΕ τιμωρήθηκε με χρηματικό πρόστιμο 500 € για την συμπεριφορά του αθλητή του.

Ολυμπιακός-Παναθηναϊκός 3-0

Ο Ολυμπιακός επικράτησε του Παναθηναϊκού με 3-0 σετ στο κλειστό γυμναστήριο του Ρέντη, στον 2ο τελικό του Πρωταθλήματος Βολεϊ Α1 ΟΠΑΠ και προηγείται 2-0 στις νίκες. Οι ομάδες θα συναντηθούν ξανά για τον 3ο τελικό του πρωταθλήματος, την Δευτέρα 4 Μαϊου στις 18.00 (Novasports1) στη Γλυφάδα.

European Beach Volleyball Championship Tour 2009 - Spanish Masters

According to the registration lists that have been finalized for the Spanish Masters, i.e. the opening event of the 2009 European Beach Volleyball Championship Tour, basically all the best European duos will be competing in Grand Canary this coming May 6-10, 2009. For the second year in a row the European Tour starts off in the beautiful and charming archipelago located just off the northwest coast of mainland Africa with some great actions that – along with the remaining stops – will pave the way up to the European Championship Final scheduled for next September 16-19 in Sochi (Russia).
The men’s Main Draw is topped by the defending European champions, Reinder Nummerdor and Richard Schuil of the Netherlands, who quite convincingly opened their 2009 campaign this past weekend in Brasilia with a seventh place at the first stop of the SWATCH FIVB World Tour. The Dutch are nevertheless expected to face a very tough opposition from a couple of German pairs, i.e. Klemperer/Koreng and especially the newly formed duo consisting of Christoph Dieckmann and Kay Matysik who ended up in fifth place the above mentioned FIVB event in Brazil, thus standing out as the best performing European team there. Watch out also for Russia’s Barsouk/Kolodinsky, silver medalists at the last FIVB World Championships back in 2007, who shared the same honors with the Germans in Brasilia, in a tournament that featured a complete medal sweep for the local guys. The hosts of Spain will be represented by at least 3 duos that are already eligible to compete in the Main Draw; however, last years’ runner-ups in Grand Canary, Raul Mesa and Pablo Herrera, have in the meantime decided to go separate ways and are therefore likely to probably simply test out their real ambitions with their respective new partners on a “hot” home turf.


In the ladies’ tournament Germany’s Sara Goller and Laura Ludwig are entering the competition as the first-seeded duo and already impressed with their early good shape in Brazil, notching there the bronze medal outplaying a very experienced US team featuring Nicole Youngs and Elaine Branagh. Being also the defending European champions and winners of the 2008 Tour, the Germans will be striving for another success, but some tough competitors will be coming their way, namely the Schwaiger sisters from Austria, U-23 European champions Bratkova/Ukolova of Russia as well as Belgium’s Mouha/van Breedam. Do not count out also a brand new Greek pair, as Vassiliki Arvanity teamed up with promising Maria Tsiartsiani following the retirement of her long-time teammate Vasso Karadassiou and these two ladies seized a convincing 7th place in Brazil.
The Spanish Masters will start off next May 6 with the country quota matches and run through Sunday, May 10, with both finals being scheduled on that day in the appealing scenario provided by the well known Playa del Ingles.
